If I lost my family today by Fontina Duhart

If I lost my family today by Fontina Duhart
If I lost my family today and couldn't laugh or play
I Would really be upset
My family means the world
To me they feed me when I am
Hungry they comfort me when
I am lonely what would I do if
I couldn't see you when I came
Home from school
Who would take me to church
Or to the store
Who would cut my hair
After dark thinking about you
Everyday listening to you
Sing your song each day
All would be lost if I lost my
Family to today I would
Just have to cry and ask God
Why hopefully He would answer back
And say child get some rest
The little things we take for granted
Love your family and be nice to your friends
God is always watching give a hug when you can say
I love you with a smile remember
We are just passing through to journey
On to our home on high
