IF I’LL BE BORN AGAIN

If I’ll be born again,
May I be born as a girl again
Into a world, where
I can breathe free air,
Sun sheds its luster fair
On everyone, and everywhere.

If I’ll be born again,
May I be born as a girl again
Into a world where
I can be a waft of air
To roam over the dell,
With rippling crystal rill.

If I’ll be born again
May I be born as a girl again
Into a world where
I can bloom there
With no fear of stormy weather;
Lightning or roaring thunder.

If I’ll be born again,
May I be born as a girl again
Into a world where
I won’t be a kite in the air,
No girl is on the sale,
Slavery isn’t her tale.

If I’ll be born again,
May I be born as a girl again
Into a heavenly world,
Where everyone is a god,
Women are seen as mothers,
Sisters and daughters.
