If Memory

If memory were a seamstress threading,
This feeble pin would snap like a fracture.
Bone in teeth of the architect's bedding.

If memory were a route to rapture
This forsaken box car will not prevail
There's only so much windows can capture

If memory were a firestarter
How the cursed flame kisses the black veil
Labels me their sacrificial martyr.

If memory embroidered minds hearty,
Chariot cushions providing comfort
Cruising towards the dire pity party.

If memory were a seamstress threading
Bone in teeth of the arsonist's bedding.
