If We Could

If we could explore the earth, would you come?
To go and find our worth, I am numb.

If we could look into each other eyes
Gaze until our last breath
I would choose that demise
To part only at death

To simply lie next to each other
To hold close and warm
To anger, then recover
To pass through the storm

If we could love each other now and always
I couldn't see any way else
Daily I'd say that in many ways
I love you more than myself

Only with you at my side can I be truly content
No more if we could's only what to prevent.
