Ignorance Is Bliss

How ignorant people are!
To think that it's the truth,
when it's obviously stretched so far.
Can you honestly believe women are always asking for "it"?
Apparently we should always expect this, give up and quit.
I should feel fright when I walk alone at night,
I should expect and accept your cat calls
and take them as a compliment and not feel extremely small.

Women are constantly told "don't get raped," as though we choose to.
I've never seen a man being told not to rape or stop their cat calls,
or just leave women alone at all.

We have been raised in a society that teaches and preaches hypocrisy
encouraging us to speak,
then calling us weak.
Apparently we should feel blame and shame,
because this world is a man's game.
