I’ll Stand Tall

I feel the ground shake beneath my feet
Is this the end I must meet?
As beat up buildings begin to crumble
All over our shack I fall and fumble

I see my little brother trapped beneath something
He's screaming my name as I come running
It's the most horrific sight,
To lose your family in just one night.

That earthquake was the strongest of all,
Because it made more than buildings fall.
Trapped beneath buildings and rubble,
This time, I couldn't get get family out of trouble.

I must say, the earthquake took it all
But me, I'll stand tall.
