I’m A Fool (Haiku Poetry)

it's hopeless, i know.
that a man, foolish as i,
could think ways like so.

hopeless romantic,
that is what i am,
and what i will always be.

but why me? why?
why is it me?
out of all picked?

because, young padawan,
i'm a fool,
to think i could;

and to think i could;
that i could fall for someone
some angel like her.
