I’m Real

By Emiil

I was always trying to be real,
I knew that life isn't gonna be ideal,
I was always honest about how I feel,
But bad people took advantage of me.
So now, I need to heal, we are humans,
But we'll all have to be strong as a steel,
To solve everyday problems. I conceal
My soul and my happines into a crust.
But this crust isn't the one you're gonna peel.
All my friends dumped me because I was real,
Now they have fake friends, it's sad to be
Left alone with your soul, to which they were dear.
I am not delusional, and I have no idea
How is world gonna be a better place, if
We are not all gonna be real?
