Imagery

There's something in that picture
The sun casts on your innocent face
Your arms are open wide
Something that's hard to replace

You wore you're best clothes
Your smile gleamed with white
In that old photo, I was yours
And you were mine

We were content and smiling
The afternoon breeze blowing by
Little did I know,
This was all a huge lie

Your smile was fake
Your love was untrue
In that picture you were mine
But I was never for you
