Imploding Souls

There are no sidewalks here
Only imploding souls
Come to rest
From ragged breaths of God
And paper dolls
Sheltered from the rain
There are no sidewalks here
Only demons
Come to reside
In a body
Sewn for me
Of shattered stars
And soft, sweet grass
There are no sidewalks here
Let's walk across the galaxies
To fill my empty soul
I hear you crying out her name
But there are no sidewalks here
Your words fall on empty hearts
And shatter on their skin
But their bodies are just bodies
And there are no sidewalks here
