In a Way We All Are Like One Another

In a way we all are like one another
A belief, a faith, the earth, a deity
In our minds and hearts they seem to be
On our knees, standing up or on a rug to pray
We each have our own little special way.
For prayer, chants, spells or meditate
To relax, to love, to live or to keep away from sin
We all can reach our Savior, greater one or special place within
A temple, a synagogue, church or mosque
We meet for worship, prayer, chant to get closer
With Rama, Jesus, Lakshmi, God, other or Allah
From explosion, dirt, God, or a greater good
We believe creation of everything came to be and is understood
Violence, wars, conflict because of difference
We all hope ends and we have peace
Maybe if we have an agreement on our beliefs
With a person of culture, religion, country, birthplace of another
We can develop a closer bond, stop fighting and realize
We all bleed, hurt, cry and came from inside our mother
Perhaps peace will come from within and war will be done
We should all believe in a way we are all like one another
