In Fall

What is death
Each year the leaves turn orange, brown, yellow
In winter they fall down to the barren ground
This is death
What is life
Each year the leaves unfold again,
Flowers attend, in sage and sapphire dress
This is life
This death, this birth
Symphony of color
The leaves do not fear the fall
They do not mourn their end
For in their place is left the memories
One cycle, in all they do, with grace
