In Flight

Flying is many a greatest fear
They say you're safer sitting in the rear
Why is this? I asked as I coughed
Because the plane tail tends to snap off

There you will be with fewer around
Just unbuckle and jump to the ground
Wave to the pilot, the man at the front,
For in his spare time he prefers to fly stunt

Secure your luggage straps and pull them tight
For this is going to be one hell of a flight
The radio brought news of thunderstorms
Hot summer skies and dark clouds will surely form

Bring along your laptop for a movie or two
Don't even worry until you notice a seated crew
She'll sport sweat on her brow and knuckles white
How amazing this experience is being in flight
