In Just One Day
Have you ever been asked to be normal?
Have you ever been considered to be strange or informal?
We are all victims of this judgement,
Even though judging isn't gonna cut it.
Why must we criticize,
And why must we be unwise
For being unique and using our own technique
Is its own defeat
Because being normal
Isn't gonna get you to be a model.
Don't take the judgments
For you are the difference
Don't take the blame
And you won't be lame
Continue being yourself
Because no one can copy themselves
And redo it perfectly.
And if they try to copy,
Just remember there'll always be one thing soggy
On they're imperfect impression
Which is why they continue rejectin'
'Cause they know they can never be you perfectly.
