In Sheep’s Clothing

By Crys

I felt your gaze before we met,
Your tender touch I won't forget,
That garden path you led me through,
Seemed to blossom fresh and new.
Those words of love you spoke to me,
Unlocked my world, you held the key
But none of it was real you see,
You stole my heart and banished me
And doused me in an ice cold fire,
Searing anguish, deep desire
The price is high, for what's been done,
Because I thought
You were God's trusted One
