In Siren Song

He speaks to me in siren song,
a master of deceptively sweet words.
How long 'til I crash my ship in this fog?

Who knows for just how long
I've been entranced by the enticing whispers I've heard...
He speaks to me in siren song.

Pulling me closer to my doom, this current is far too strong.
He could rip my heart apart like rocky shores shred ships.
How long 'til I crash my ship in this fog?

I've dwelled in chaos and lunacy for far too long
but he pulls me in with all the promises he won't keep.
He speaks to me in siren song.

With the devils or the angels-I don't know where he belongs.
Why have I not yet been deterred;
how long 'til I crash my ship in this fog?

I will be a tragic shipwreck, long gone,
lost upon his shores, lost to his silvery words.
He speaks to me in siren song-
how long 'til I crash my ship in this fog?
