In the Amidst of the Darkness

In a hidden page of a book, there is a she,
reluctant to face the reality.
She's hiding from the metal hands of the world,
A girl who is fading, slowly dying.

Her hands are trembling to touch the light,
tired of loving then will leave her hanging.
Puffy eyes from too much crying,
Wet pillows from countless nights of suffering.

In the amidst of darkness,
A girl who is walking alone.
No fuel can light up her dark world,
A she who fear to love again.

She was the girl from the amidst of darkness,
the girl who is digging her own graveyard.
Fear of loving again is now slowly eating her,
Unfortunately, she is me.
