In the Darkness

In the darkness
What I see is a vast ocean
And a boy standing still
Under the pallid moon
So that his flesh glows silver
With a flash of gold.
And his body is made up
Of a thousand glowing stars.
In the darkness all I see
Is a boy standing still
Unmoving in the silence,
Unbreakable and unmolded by time.
In the darkness all I see
Is a boy with shining eyes,
Silver, in the ocean,
Scatter like a plot of stars.
In the darkness all I see
Is a fleeing shadow
And a vanished boy.
