In the End
In the end
I was burned by the touch of your lips
Left with your words on my skin
Consumed by the fantasy in which i created
A fantasy that i thought-
No,
That I believed was real
The fantasy where our love was pure
And our love was destined
And how every tear you caused was justified by
"I'm sorry, I promise it won't happen again"
But that's just a fantasy
I know because when our bodies intertwine
And I'm singing you a song written for your ears only
I look in your eyes and I see no passion
I see no intimacy
Just the firey lust that burns through my being
In the end
I was a stranger to myself
My mind corrupted
My body used
