In the End

My heart beats fast a I cry
My throat swells up because it's dry
My feet feel torn
Because I'm walking on glass
I take another step
The thin glass shatters
Like it matters
I plunge into darkness
Cold and damp
I stare at the stars
Lest I forget
That I was loved
And hopefully still am
I remember how my mom would take my hand
My heart skips a beat when I hear my name
Maybe there is hope
In the end of this cruel game
As I walk I don't feel any pain
I plunge into brightness
Maybe it was finaly time
To finish this game
To finish the pain
