In the Meantime and Between Time

See in the meantime and between time
I have discovered your weakness
I've saw your highest high and your lowest lows
And you're mad because you never seen mine
I didn't want to seem selfish so I hid mine
But see in the meantime and between time
I have loved you in your darkest hour
And cheered you on in the prime of your shine
But you're upset because you never witnessed mine
You can never say that you pulled me from my pits of torturous
Or praised me on the top of my Mount Olympus
Because I didn't want to seem selfish so I hid mine
But in the meantime and between time
I wanted to give you all of my joy
So I acted like there was no anguish and that everything is fine
I didn't want to double your sorrows are out do your triumphed times
So my ups and downs I hid mine.
In the meantime and between time I was told that true love is blind
We give ours love ones everything and make it all about them
So our passions and pains we lock them away
So those who supposed to love us back can't find them
So in the meantime and between time
I have given you more than a piece of me, to give you a piece of mind
And everything about me that could burden you I hid mine.
