In the Midst

By

There are those who are frantic
And those who see no reason to panic.

With suffocation on the horizon,
What could be done but isolation?

At war with a plague, and like other wars,
The command underestimates its enemy.

But in the midst of the chaos,
I see new paths.

Life has many unknowns,
At times overwhelmingly frightening.

But I know now, I'll find new paths
When the former dies off.
