In the Quiet Depths of Mind

In the quiet depths of mind,
I find solitude.
In the caverns of my thought,
I am free.
Though chains unbound, chains they be.
Just as a day at sea.
In my eyes and in my chest,
I am torn
As all the fields,
They turn green.
But one day, you will find me
Beneath the willow tree.

Lo how the sky cries water,
And oh how it crashes on the earth.
But per the rain, comes soon its fragile daughter,
And soon I will again be blessed with birth.
