At winter's night and howling wind
Chills cut through my spine
Chilled to the bone amidst snowy pine
The wind howls scream like snowy ice demons
My body is faint and weak
Will the rescue keep?
To save body and mind from an frozen death!
A silent prayer given and faith partaken
In times of love my heart begins to warm
With thoughts of my love's smile
My body is warmed by visions
Of my love's soft glance
Which brings the sun's warmth and light
Effulgent lights of angel's song
And the waiting arms of my love's embrace
In times of love
My love always calls
For God's safe beacon
