In Your Presence

There is a place in my heart
where I hold a torrent of emotions for you
since you planted in my soul
a garden of hope with your smile.
Now I’m afraid to lose that
which so far I have only found in you.
Your eyes speak to me,
and drunken by your beauty;
though I admire you in your speech,
I can’t help but feel
that I am falling in love with your breath.
And without you noticing,
I’m climbing gently up your hair towards the sky
as I feel like the most fortunate man in your presence.
