Incarnate
I wake in echoes, worn yet new,
A breath reborn in borrowed hue.
A whisper trails from lips unseen,
A name I was, a name I’ve been.
Through fractured time, my footsteps weave,
A thousand pasts I can’t retrieve.
The bones I bear, not mine to keep,
Yet in their marrow, secrets sleep.
The wind recalls my distant face,
Yet carves anew what time erased.
A soul recycled, bent, retold,
A life once fire, now brittle gold.
No fate is fixed, no form is true—
I live, I die, yet walk anew.
A breath reborn in borrowed hue.
A whisper trails from lips unseen,
A name I was, a name I’ve been.
Through fractured time, my footsteps weave,
A thousand pasts I can’t retrieve.
The bones I bear, not mine to keep,
Yet in their marrow, secrets sleep.
The wind recalls my distant face,
Yet carves anew what time erased.
A soul recycled, bent, retold,
A life once fire, now brittle gold.
No fate is fixed, no form is true—
I live, I die, yet walk anew.

Theme: Rebirth, cycles of existence, identity through time. Meaning: This poem explores the concept of reincarnation, how identities are not fixed but fluid, shaped by past lives and choices. It suggests that each existence carries echoes of previous selves, yet the essence of the soul remains elusive. The paradox of being both old and new is central to its depth.
