Incomparable Differences

Thousands of rays of sunlight gleam through the caliginous bulb,
As it lays there lucent and warm
The sandy beach looks as if someone has scattered pebbles,
In no particular pattern
There's a distinct smell,
That could only be from the salted seaweed resting upon the shore
The washed up driftwood reminded me of the frequent splinters,
I have received throughout my life
One tiny piece carrying an even smaller one
This beach is a miniscule compared to the earth
It wasn't much compared to other things I've seen,
But it is just enough to catch my eye
