Indigo

You have not lost
I have not forgotten
All things unfold
Like Egyptian cotton
Warm summer nights
And cool kitchen floors
Flooding my mind
Through old wooden doors
With babies breath around my head
Like linens draped across our bed
Memories have not gone stale
Their sweet in sight
And ripe in Braille
Still be the silent
Seat of grace
My sadness holds
No ugly face
Like a unicycle
Life of haste
Holding my heart
And keeping up pace
