Inner child

Inner child

She walks outside
In the middle of the night
Her family asleep
Not a soul in sight
She stands in her pajamas
Taking everything in ..
With Her arms spread out
She starts to spin...
The trees are still
The wind is whirling
She is filled with love
Her heart doesn't know hurting
That Innocence continues
to fill the night air
If someone seen her
she wouldn't know to care
She laughs so easily
For her own reasons
Nothing effects this little girl
The possibilities are endless
She doesn't feel hate or pain
only love and beauty ...
I wish this little girl
Was still inside me ..
She walks alone
On a Cold dark night
Watching the snow as it glistens
From a single street light
No cares ..,no worries
She has a warm bed waiting
Her faith so strong
And never fading
She thanks the lord
For all she has
And asks he blesses
Her mom and dad
Before going in to sleep
She turns around
It's So quiet , so perfect ,
snow is covering the ground
She takes a deep breath
Then let's it out and smiles
Her hands are cold
Feet are wet ..
But she could still go for miles!
