Innocence

When lights go out and floorboards creak
her mom's already fast asleep
The wolf starts howling to humid air
she starts pleading a silent prayer
Her heart starts pounding trying to hide
the doorknob turns, it opens wide
In the doorway, a silent ghost
and the body of a demon's host
It starts moving she can't resist
too young to protect her own innocence
The gates of Hell are broken down
and the flames of Satan start pouring out.

Before the sun can soak the lawn
that's it, it's finished, her innocence gone
The ghost says, "Just a secret between you and me"
when lights go out and floorboards creak
