Innocent child

Empty heart
slowly starts
to erode away my touch
with life,
internal strife
decomposing much
of me.

breaking down
i only found
the soul that’s lost within,
under ground
not hearing a sound,
receding back to where i'll begin
to live.

innocent child
walks the mile
from beginning to the end,
maintaining a smile
all the while
life’s intruding hand descends
on me.

This Poems Story

Lack of feeling, separates me from reality. Being lost, like being dead not hearing anyone\'s help, then, like a growing flower from the ground i try to start all over again. Being naive as i go through life, but keeping strong no matter what life throws at me.
