Insanity

Families were together
Mothers and fathers were home
Everyone seemed so happy
What could have possibly gone wrong
Police brutality
Wars with high casualties
We are all the same
So why do we insist on playing a blame game
Dr. Elckleberg's eyes have closed in heartache
God's word is something that we must not
forsake
Can't you see it all
Look how the world is starting to fall
What happened to the American Dream
Should I call Fitzgerald to remind us all or should
I call Dr. King
This isn't the America I know
If times go on like this how do they expect it to grow
The definition of insane is doing the same thing over and over
expecting a different outcome
Check America into a mental facility
because that is what it has become
