Insecurity

Every day is a struggle for recovery
For everything's so hard to heal in reality

Differences push aside every reason to "just be you"
Making people forget themselves and the strength to stay true

The pressure makes people get tricked
Into thinking everything's all about the pressure to be perfect

But it's hard not to when school's part of life
It's the place where people struggle and strive

School fills people with more than ambition
They also feel unsure and uncertain

For there are those who judge and criticize
Criticize from the use of only the eyes

So absorbed in how they look, so caught up in how they dress
As if only purpose in school is to simply impress

This is the main obstacle that I had to face
For to resist fitting in is hard to erase

Every day is a struggle for recovery
For school is so full of insecurity
