Poems aren’t what they seem
They are a delusion
A mirror in a sense
Reflecting our lives
How we feel
Our anger
Our passion
Our frustrations
Our successes
More importantly
They are a mirror image of how we feel
And how we fell
They are everything to us
They are a part of us
They are us
But poems can be deceiving
They may seem calm
But in real life they are angry
They don’t tell you unless it’s too late
That’s why they can be tricky
They are also like diseases
They infect their host
Eat them from the inside out
Making them do stuff they don’t want to do
Then once the host is dead they leave to find another victim
One who is daring enough to travel in a poem
One who is daring enough to travel inside
