Inside and Outside

The inside world is the safe haven
It's secluded in warm silence
A playground for Vivement the Raven
Flying towards the horizon

A steady world with no hatred
Everything's calm and sophisticated
Because how can hate breed hate
When you and your inner snob finally cooperate

But then you step into the outside world
Where it's loud and really bright
You feel displaced with swirls and twirls
Suddenly, an infinite daylight is a birthright

Combative soldiers are firing adjectives at point blank
With new technology, earphones no longer create safe zones
Owned and executed by corrupt banks
Amoral loans target the minority, and it's worse if you're alone

The outside world isn't pretty
It mainly consist of winners
Escape the imploding the city
Embrace the losing sinners
