Insignificant

I have been taught
That i am unsightly
I have been taught
To never make a sound
I have been taught
That i am worthless
I have been taught
That i will never be good enough
I have been taught
That i am simply
Unloveable

But

I will sing too
Of a mystical mutiny
But i will fight
Because i am none of these things
I am simply alive
And i will cherish that feeling
Until i succumb
To nothingness
