Interlude

Your voice is only a whisper in a roaring crowd
Until you choose to speak louder
And make those who love you proud.
It's up to you where your path veers
You'll be the one held responsible for the events that occur
Because you're the one who steers.
Actions speak louder than words
But words still hold abundant power
And actions can gift flight to murmurs
Even in the darkest hour.
Time spanned out through the beating of a heart
A constant thrum ready to tear apart.
What once was and what will become
No words can penetrate the pounding of the drum.
