Interpreter of Differences

To spend or not to spend?--our voters here
Don't have that choice to make in eighty-eight.
Since both these spenders aim to raise the cash
For all they now assume the county needs.
To pay or not to pay?--Mere citizens
Don't have the right to think and then to choose,
Since both these payers aim to refinance.
The bankrupt dreams of higher leadership.
To bill taxpayers now or wait awhile?-
That is the question left unanswered yet.
And who will best accept outrageous fate,
Those living now, or children yet unborn.
To vote or not to vote?-Each must decide.
If ballot boxes make a difference
