Into the Well

Oh dear, oh dear I've tumbled into our city well!
How will I get help? Should I scream? Or should I yell?
I can't believe I've gotten into this silly mess!
And I have even ruined my only pretty dress!
Now I'm stomping and I'm sulking in the bottom of the well.
When will I get out? Only time will tell.
Then my tummy rumbles. Now what should I do?
Will I starve? Will I freeze? Should I try to eat my shoe?
That's when I hear the clatter way above my head.
Then boom I'm awake! And I'm glad I'm in my bed.
