Into Your Eyes

I looked into your eyes,
And that's when I knew,
I was drowning,
I was drowning in your perfect,
Perfect blue eyes,
I don't know if you would of saved me,
If I hadn't saved myself,
It took me a while to realize what you did,
You weren't upfront about it,
You just left,
Why couldn't you have said goodbye?
What did I do wrong?
I loved you harder,
than you could have ever loved me,
Yet I fought through the pain,
And you broke me again,
And again,
the saddest thing is,
I would let you do it again,
That's the problem,
Your blue eyes drown me,
But I don't want to look away,
Because the last time I did,
You left me stranded,
Gasping for air,
Without a trace of the word
goodbye.
