Introspection

Once upon a time is how fairy-tales begin,
and the glamorous portrayals of bygone
princes and princesses, when scrutinized,
wear dreadfully thin and fade fast into
nowhere.

Restless daydreams here and everywhere,
conjuring up images of the pampered and
rich, are flashing seductive symbols of
privileges that, when inspected, lead to
nowhere.

Before leaping mindlessly into the dazzling
realms of materialism, it might be wise to
explore the innate rewards of embracing
the intangibles dwelling in the shadows of
nowhere.
