Invisible

You're a loving and caring mother,
But you only care about others. .
You keep me on the outside,
It feels like it would be easier for you to hide.

Being a nurse, and a wife is enough for you,
I don't think you have a clue what I am going through.
There's nothing but regret between us.
There's always some type of fuss.

My friends have strong relationships with their moms,
And I always try to stay calm.
You never seem to be proud,
And you always get loud.

Always smiling is my goal,
But that always goes down the hole.

I don't know why,
It's so hard not to cry,
When i'm with you,
I always get the blues.

You lost your mother years ago,
And I'm still waiting for you to go.
