Iowa Seasons

Trees changing the color of their leaves,
Plants blossoming in the late spring.
The harsh cold of winter,
And the beautiful summer sun

The birds sing songs of love,
While the squirrels fight over nuts,
Running here and there in the blink of an eye.
Gardens and lush grass galore.

Summer transitions into fall and then to winter.
Snow falls, blanketing the ground in a winter wonderland
Ice skating, snowball fights, and forts,
Sledding and hot chocolate are enjoyed on every snow day.

When you live in Iowa, you get it all
The warm sun rays of summer,
The leaf pile filled falls,
The wonderland winters,
And the blooming flowers of spring.

When day changes to night,
We know how it's done,
Movies, games, and family time are always enjoyed.
Through every season we thrive.
