Is it

By Moses I

Is it too soon to know what you did
Far too soon to see what we did
Fading waves of what we said

Too many years of what we've seen
Too many years of what we've known

Far too late to make up for what we've done
Too tired to chase you around and get what was owed
We can't know what is owed, I owe nothing to you, was there something in between

Too many years of what we've seen
Too many years of what we've known

We chase the shadows running hoping they let us rest
Restless we crash, drowning out the ones we left behind

Too many years of what we've seen
Too many years of what we've known

Love and in between, what was owed
Sunsets and purple sunrises
We know there is nothing left in between

Too many sunsets in between us,
Love has lost its way,
Forever twilight makes us stay

A story about a relationship, not intimate, but not strangers drifting away.
