Island

Did you think I was just an island?
Small enough for you to hide
I am the oceans all around it
Strong enough to destroy lives
but gentle enough to find comfort in me
I am the palm trees
powerful enough to destroy
There is no
beauty like mine
For I have soul
I am no basic tall building I am made of beautiful mountains
Stronger than any other
I am not artificial lakes
I am beautiful cascades
I’d pour all over you
Refreshing you
As my fresh clean water
flows all over you.
I am the bungalows by the ocean
I am the air you need
Come here with the best expectations
And make the best out of me.
