Isochronism

Fallen, reiteratively, into this cataclystic cycle of affliction
Where I am the one it wishes to pursue.
For I have returned and endearingly embraced
Everything I had previously striven to elude.
No matter how much I struggle to break free,
I never prevail and so I knew it would capture me soon.
Left to wait
For the formidable torment of my soul and my impending doom.
It insinuated as something magnificent and enticing,
But I was misled to believe in its insincerity.
So I wait, with hope in my heart,
That one day I shall be unleashed from this terrible adversity.
