Isolation

You stay indoors day by day waiting
for something new. Nothing ever
happens when nobody knows you
need help.

Alone and lonely in your current space,
but not truly alone in your heart. But your
heart cannot heal the way you feel in your
head.

The walls of your home have become a
prison. Cramped and dull,
nowhere to go. Just you and your
thoughts having a long-overdue meeting,
but they are not always pleasant. One
thought leads to another and then you
spiral into a feeling of deep sorrow.
