It Didn’t Matter

By bebe    bebe

It Didn’t Matter:
Up the stairs,
On a cold bench.
Empty, numb.
Eyes to the sky,
Trying not to cry.

Speechless, mad.
Good hearted words,
Hugs, hands,
I can’t hear or feel.

Wrapped in white,
Dead to the world,
To the tears and hurt.

You are buried deep,
Too far to reach,
With half of me down there.

How could this happned?
I prayed, cried, begged,
It didn’t matter.

Up the stairs,
On a cold bench.
Empty, numb.
Eyes to the sky,
Trying not to cry.

Speechless, mad.
Good hearted words,
Hugs, hands,
I can’t hear or feel.

Wrapped in white,
Dead to the world,
To the tears and hurt.

You are buried deep,
Too far to reach,
With half of me down there.

How could this happned?
I prayed, cried, begged,
It didn’t matter.
