It Feels Real

The pain which you feel all the time is hard to hide away,
It feels like no-one loves or cares every single day,
You try your best to hide your face, and maybe stop the pain
And the hopes you have for tomorrow just go down the drain,
It sucks all glimmer from your eyes, makes you just a body,
So to feel something you cut yourself and make your wrists all bloody
You want to wake up from the dream and find yourself in bed
"Is this horror real?" the thought just fills you up with dread
You think about this all the time, every day and night,
But you cannot win this battle,no matter how you fight
This problem is quite real you hear, and not to be ignored,
Offer up a helping hand and strike a happy chord.
This poem is to inspire, and make you give a thought,
To those who suffer daily, from things you may ignore
It might seem odd or maybe fake, everything they feel,
But to them there's really no escape and trust me,it feels real.
