It Started at Six
Clumsy at six,
Misdiagnosed at seven,
At nine, I was something different.
Blood tests taken,
Months of waiting,
Almost ten and a different diagnosis,
Heartbreaking news,
New way of life
To live with FSHD,
Keeping in mind
That I’m not alone
To keep me on my feet.
